Charleston Leaders works to provide information about our community to engage, educate and involve our leaders. On a quarterly basis throughout the year, we host a Leader Breakfast Series to inform on various topics. Our Charleston Metro area has so many exciting topics to choose from! We gather Leaders together to learn collectively about the issues in our community locally, regionally, and globally. Every quarter, our Leader Breakfast Series attract 150 – 200 leaders interested in making a positive impact in our community.
We’ve heard from Commanders from Joint Base Charleston about the issues they face in both military and civilian life. We listened as council-members and regional Mayors talked about issues such as drainage, crime, education, community involvement and civil servitude. Former Mayor Joe Riley spoke to us about the future plans for the International African American Museum in Charleston as well as what leadership is to him and how he lead our great City. We learned from Senator Tim Scott about the issues he is facing in Washington and what he is doing for our region. Congressman Joe Cunningham and Katie Arrington spoke to our leaders on the eve of election day about leadership and community. Sean Covey, from FranklinCovey Education, enlightened us on the need to provide school children the opportunity to be great with his Leader In Me™ model.
Our Leaders Breakfast Series provides an opportunity for early morning interaction for leaders to be informed, collaborate on issues and interact with one another to further our region.
Our Quarterly Leader Breakfast Series in from 7:30am – 9:00am every quarter in February, May, August and November. Check out our events page to register today.
